I wouldn't say I hated the game completely but It was lacking more than it was entertaining and I would not say it would be worth the money. All versions are digital, though there is a physical Nintendo Switch. It was first released in early access for PC via Epic and Xbox One in July 2020 its full launch occurred in September 2022 alongside the release of a Nintendo Switch version. The drawing and ooblets are fun and the dancing is interesting but it's always the same thing and it slowly starts to be less engaging since it starts to feel more like a grind instead of having any strategic way of winning. Developed and published by Glumberland, Ooblets will be released for PC via Steam on October 5. The ways you can collect materials is also very limited as you run out of wood and rocks eventually and have no other way to obtain them as far as I can see from the amount of time I've played other than buying them. There needs to be more ways to earn money rather than having to sell things or do quests that still require you to collect crops or materials. The map starts out super small and it threw me off and also the fact that farming is what you rely on the most but it's difficult to make a good earning in the game. I feel as though it's more based on mainly collecting and farming and kind of accessorizing your character and your ooblets. There's really no connections with the characters or the ooblets and it's not as engaging as I had expected it to be. If you're looking for a super story based game this game isn't it. It's fun but it's feeling like its kind of lacking in a way.
